What's this about?

In response to numerous requests, this site intends to be a sort of diary of the renovation of our apartment. There aren't going to be lengthy essays on the minutiae - this is really just so those interested can get a feel for the progress made (or lack thereof) and can see, via some uploaded photos, the gradual transformation.
